Description
Our client is a hugely popular computer components brand seeking an Electrical Engineer to support development of small electro-mechanical connectivity adapters and associated validation and manufacturing test boards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation of infrastructure test boards to support a new debug tool product line
- Taking circuit boards from schematic to release, power-on and board/system validation
- Lab time spent validating the circuit board functionality required
- Work closely as part of a small cross functional team (daily interaction) to plan goals for specific time periods to be accomplished and execute to the aggressive time lines
- Schematic design, daily team interaction, layout reviews with CAD team
- Validation of the circuit boards independently and with the test system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years related work experience
- Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL; Board layout design, micro-via board stackups, high-speed signal integrity, BOM management
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with cross functional team (ME, SI, etc.)
