Web App/UI Developer
Our client is seeking a Web application/UI developer to be responsible for development of the web application and graphical user interfaces for a new system being integrated by our client.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for learning, comfortable in a fast-paced development environment, who can create rapid prototypes, and is comfortable with practical applications, ability to ramp up on new technologies, excellent problem solving skills and a great team player.
The candidate is expected to maintain substantial knowledge of UX, and UI applications skins and development.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering/Science
- Minimum 4 years experience developing web sites with rich Graphical User Interfaces and web video elements
- Experience in Javascript, HTML5, XML, AJAX and CSS
- Development experience with Rich Internet Applications
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years experience with web video streaming protocols, containers and codecs
- Experience with HTML55, CCS3, JQuery and related recent web technologies
- 5+ years experience with Python, Java, or C++
- 5+ years experience with 3rd party web UI development tools
- 5+ years experience with software development methodologies like Agile and applying UML in the design process
