UNIX, SOLARIS, Linux, Senior System Engineer, Migration - My international financial client, based in Brussels, is looking for a UNIX expert with strong Solaris and Linux Senior System Engineer experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Ideally you have taken a leading role in at least 1 migration project from a Solaris to Linux (Red Hat) environments. You will help plan the migration in close collaboration with the Project Leader and plan the decommission of the Solaris Servers experience Candidates should have good Shell script knowledge and have worked with Red Hat Linux. In addition you will have proven analytical thinking skills, be a team player with good communication skills. The Unix Solaris and Linux Senior System Engineer needs to have fluent English combined with French or Dutch, both in writing and speaking.
