Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pro Engineer designer with our client in Aberdeen, a world leading Oil and Gas company.
Summary
As a designer, you will be involved in producing 3D models and drawings to assist in the design, manufacture and assembly of all aspects of subsea production equipment.
Oil & Gas experience preferred but not essential, a 3 week induction will be provided to train new contracts on relevant design standards and processes.
Responsibilities
In this position you will be required to:
Produce technical designs based on Engineer's/Customer's specifications.
Create accurate, high quality 3D models to be used for Pro/NC manufacturing.
Create machine and fabrication drawings to enable manufacture.
Create revisions to Legacy data.
Adhere to recognised international and regional drafting standards.
Create and maintain Bills of Material on the database
Participate in design reviews - both internal and customer driven.
Participate in lessons learned meetings to drive improvements in drawing quality.
Requirement
HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
Suitable experience in drafting/design using Pro/Engineer.
Experience of producing drawings to a recognised industry standard
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
