Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineering
Location: Birmingham
Contract: Initially 6 months
Salary: circa £30.00 per hour
The Company:
A leading aerospace client, dealing in the design, development and manufacture of electronic control systems for aero gas turbine engines.
The Role:
Our client is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their busy manufacturing team. You will be responsible for writing the instrument control process for a range of CNC machines including Doosan, Mazaks, Okuma, and Bridgeport, and programming the CNC machines to meet project requirements. As manufacturing engineer you will be involved in the production of process layouts, FMEAs, fixture and tooling design as required.
The Candidate:
You should have experience of working as manufacturing engineer in a precision engineering environment. With experience of component Machining, you should be able to write CNC programmes, and programme the CNC machines. As you will be required to specify process layouts previous experience of this is highly desirable. Any experience working with valves and gears would be advantageous but not essential.
