brief project description: Within the Foundation Technology sector of Central Research and Development, DKD supplies electrical simulation (spice) models to design teams. We are respsonisble for correctness and accurate description of all used technologies ranging Standard CMOS, RF-SiGe and SOI technologies, but also advanced technologies in external manuafacturing sites like TSMC and Global Foundries

scope of work: Together with the other modelling engineers you will be responsible for modelling and characterization of active and passive components in all supported technologies.
* You will define and verify electrical component Spice models for Spectre that can be used for circuit simulation to enable fast and accurate 1st time right design. The main focus is on accurate description of the behavior of components through a physically based modelling approach, suited for the application of the device within the designs.
* You will develop and maintain an innovative and effective device-modelling infrastructure using state of the art measurement equipment and modelling methodologies.
* You will interact with designers in the field of device behavior and model application, with process and device technology engineers on device and process optimization.
* Activities are carried out in cross-functional teams (device modelling, library support and design flow) on a project basis, in cooperation with best-in-class technology suppliers or semiconductor foundries.
* In addition contacts with other development laboratories and Research are an important aspect of the job.
