Description
Our client is the Northwest's premier software corporation seeking an SDET to assist with testing the Back End/services. Assignment will include whitebox, blackbox, stress/performance, security testing and possibly games console testing.
OVERVEIW:
- Design and develop test tools, infrastructure, test automation etc.
- Own areas of a project and driving it for results
- Attend daily scrum meetings
- Perform Code Reviews
- Write, execute test plans and cases
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
- Find and report bugs within owned areas
- Design and develop new test automation infrastructure
- Document functionality of test tools
- Effectively communicate and report feature quality and state
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of C/C++ and used within the last 6 months.
- 5+ current years of C#
- 2+ years with IIS and used within the last 6 months
- 3+ years of ASP.NET and used within the last 6 months
- 2+ current years with WCF/REST API
- 1+ years of SQL and used within the last 6 months
- 4+ current years of testing skills
- 1+ years of performance/stress testing and used within the last 2 years
- 3+ current years of debugging (+ tools)
- 2+ current years of .NET 3.5+
- 6 months of VS 2010 testing features and used within the last 6 months
- 2+ years with XML and used within the last 2 years
- Communication skills (written and listening)
- Willingness to learn
- Team player/interpersonal skills
- Ability to take ownership and drive to results
NICE TO HAVE:
- 1+ years of Socket/Network Programming and used within the last 3 years
- 1+ year of experience with Security Testing and used within the last year
- 6months + of experience with Testing Tools (Fiddler/Netmon/Fuzzing etc.) and used within the last 2 years
- 1+ years of experience with Windows Azure and used within the last year
