General Requirements
The role involves working in small teams to design, develop or configure products to suit the needs of our Oil & Gas customers. You will be responsible for generating technical specifications, driving design, generating acceptance procedures and demonstrating due diligence in design.

The role will encompass Subsea intervention systems, focusing in the areas of Topside, Subsea Distribution equipment, Subsea Instrumentation or Subsea Controls dependent on candidate experience.

Essential Responsibilities
* Interpretation of industry and international codes and standards.
* Interpretation of client standards and global practices.
* Generation and/or Review of technical documentation including Calculations, Acceptance Test Procedures, Operating Manuals and Functional Specifications.
* Ensuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements.
* Ensuring that product design conforms with field proven or qualified technologies.
* Ensuring that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
* Representation of the business in client and vendor focused design reviews.
* Technical contribution to vendor selection processes.
* Support of technical investigations including field failures.

Qualifications/Requirements
* HNC or Degree in Engineering or International equivalent, and experience in related industry.
* You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Country of posting.
* Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.

Desired Characteristics
* Experience and knowledge of the design and operation of Subsea Control Systems with a Mechanical/Hydraulic bias or
* Experience and knowledge of the design of Mechanical/Hydraulic products in a related industry such as Marine or Aerospace.
* Team player.
* Good organisational skills.
* Computer base knowledge (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/CAD).
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Clear Thinker.
* Previous experience in working well in a Matrix structure.
* Customer Focus.
