Distributed Systems Architectures group

The Distributed Systems Architectures group provides system and components innovations to enable applications and use cases in the areas of: In- vehicle networks (IVN), Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Mobile Payments(including NFC) and Smart Environments.

Our program has a growing emphasis on the following system aspects
- Reliability, lifetime and safety
- Security and privacy
- Machine to Machine communication

The output of the group consists of patents, scientific publications, designs and prototypes which are transferred to the business.

Job Description
Model (in MatLab) and implement (in VHDL) a defined single wire communication protocol for the communicating between battery cells as well as the communication between a battery pack controller and the Global battery manager. The protocol characteristics have been already defined and the initial Matlab model has been implemented.

Profile
- Bachelor or Masters level.
- 5- 10 years of experience.
- Excellent VHDL/Verilog implementation skills.
- Understanding of in- vehicle networks, mainly network protocols. System thinker.
- Team player that can function in a multicultural environment. Good social and communication skills.
- Self propelled, with a proactive attitude and own initiative.
- Customer and business focused.
- Willingness to work at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands
