Expeditor, Buyer, Predominantly mechanical with some Electronic. Immediate Start
Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Bedford, Bedfordshire.
They urgently seek an experienced expeditor to come on board for an initial 2 month contract to clear backlogs in supply.
Key skills:
- 3+ years expediting/buying experience
- Mechanical buying knowledge (65% of the role)
- Electrical/electronic buying (35% of the role)
- The role may involve supplier visits to checking parts progress. Experience isn't essential but the ability to do so is preferred
Due to the clients location, the role would suit someone with their own transport.
Items you will hopefully be familiar with are: Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Brackets, Electrical panels, fabricated beams, steel side frames, groove rolls, electrical and electronic components.
