Description
My client is looking for an NHS experienced PMO. This is a superb opportunity to provide pivotal support to a major acute transformation agenda including the reconfiguration of multiple clinical services.
Your key responsibilities will be supporting the Programme Lead to set up a PMO. This will include defining templates and processes and then implementing them. Currently the trust has an informal PMO structure, this needs to be defined and set up effectively by implementing best practice through applying project management methodologies such as Prince 2. The client is not looking for a Prince 2 guru, the ability to flex methodologies is crucial.
The ideal interim must be an experienced PMO with a proven track record of defining and implementing PMO processes and structures in an acute environment. This role will involve working with senior stakeholders across the trust; therefore the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the operational pressures and challenges within the acute setting is key to building credibility. Excellent relationship/stakeholder management skills is crucial as you will be engaging clinical and non clinical stakeholders. I'm afraid that anyone without this NHS Acute experience is unlikely be considered.
This is a 3 month assignment starting Monday 30th April and is offering a competitive daily rate. The client has availability to interview on Tuesday 24th April. Please apply directly or contact Sian Williams to discuss.
