Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a Investment Risk & Reporting Programme Manager, to be based in The Docklands.

The Investment Risk & Reporting Programme Manager will be responsible for:
-Drive the organisation, engaging with key stakeholders, defining the strategic projects associated with re-engineering of the business and organize an appropriate delivery governance
-Develop a detailed TOM for Infrastructure, supported with relevant Organisation Design
-Develop an overarching view of all AMG projects and how they align to the AMG MTO
-Manage and on-going governance, communication and programme review processes to ensure programmes remain relevant and aligned the development and needs of AMG
-Set up programme reporting on the AMG portfolio of projects - provide appropriate management of the portfolio to ensure core deliverables and associated outcomes are achieved for the business
-Develop and communicate the Global Infrastructure Strategy aligning all the activities outlined above (TOM, OD, and Projects) and how the efficiencies will be unlocked and a sustainable support to business growth assured
-Build strong relationships with, and influence, senior stakeholders whilst knowing when it is appropriate to flex or stand firm on critical issues
-Working with the IT project manager, to develop and implement high level strategies to maximise service levels (CTB and RTB) to end user communities, through optimised deployment and configuration of resources and monitoring resource utilisation against forecasted headcount
-Regular review of the Infrastructure business model and make on-going recommendations on efficiencies, KPIs and opportunities.
-Programme reporting on a portfolio of projects within AMG
-Major challenges include keeping an appropriate balance between shorter term business imperatives and longer-term commitment to organizational efficiency.
-Influencing key stakeholders to ensure appropriate alignment of core activities and processes are achieved

As such, the successful Investment Risk & Reporting Programme Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior stakeholders, third party consultants and technical experts across the whole bank
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with proven experience working in a matrixed management structure, building and maintaining global team relationships
-Experience of delivery in a similar role within Asset Management is essential
-A Strong background in both Investment Risk Management gained through working within this area is beneficial as would be someone with a strong Performance and analytics background
-Ability to transition easily from conceptualising/defining the high level strategy and target business model, to providing guidance in defining the bottoms-up target operating model, understanding the details on products, technological and operational implications in delivering transformation
-Ability to clearly articulate programmes of work to management consultants and SMEs, manage/interpret the deliverables and translate theory into practice
-Ability to re-engineer the end-to-end business processes to gain efficiency and to better support the strategic objectives
-Ability to oversee a portfolio of projects, report on progress and align the step change in the strategic journey
-Ability to work at pace with a sense of urgency
-Ability to take a 20,000 ft view without losing touch with the detail
-Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
-Organisational and planning skills
-Outcome focused rather than task focussed, with particular focus on unlocking the benefits
