Description
Our Client is a major privately held company with headquarters in Atlanta. Currently they have roughly 200 employees in their IT department developing everything from customer facing websites to internal payroll systems. We are currently looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join the team on a contract basis through the end of the year. The Scrum Master will serve as an internal coach for the Applications Delivery department assisting them with the adoption and use of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices. They currently work in an Agile environment using small teams, an iterative approach to development and short sprints. They are not looking for an Agile coach but rather a PM with a strong background leading projects using the Agile methodology.Our client is located just south of the city. They are ready to begin interviewing immediately and would be able to have you start ASAP.
Requirements:
- Served as a Scrum Master on large enterprise wide projects
- Must be confident working with both very strong technical leads and business groups.
- A history of successful projects
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Must be able to identify potential issues and find ways to clear different obstacles.
- Must have experience as a Scrum Master and a solid knowledge and able to teach the Agile Process and tools.
- Will have a Java Development Background
- Will be willing and able to take on other technical tasks as needed for the success of the team.
