A leading technology organisation has an immediate requirement for an Electronic Design Engineer for an initial 6 month contract based in Gloucestershire.
As electronic design engineer you'll be working as part of a team responsible for the development of hardware and software for a Microprocessor based electronic shower valve printed circuit assembly based on Atmel ATXMega processor.
You'll also be responsible for the development of Microprocessor based designs which incorporate a radio module, LCD and user controls.
Candidates will need to have previous exposure to Microprocessor based hardware and software design as well as good knowledge of Orcad schematic capture.
Essential Skills
Hardware Design (ideally using Atmel ATMega and ATXMega microprocessors)
Software Design in 'C' (using IAR workbench)
Knowledge of Orcad Schematic capture
Desirable Skills
Serial Protocols (RS485)
SMPS design
UML
