Description
We are currently working with a world-leading telecommunications provider on a large network outsourcing restructure, and require a customer facing Network Implementation Technician able to make technical changes to customer and infrastructure networks or infrastructure networks based on designs provided, in addition to autonomously make minor BAU changes.
The Network Implementation Technician must have more than 3 years of customer facing services, and be strong in technology associated with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN and VPN. Specifically Cisco, Windows and Linux experience is required.
Only English speaking technicians with EU/UK Visa may apply. Finnish speaking professionals desired, but Finnish is not mandatory.
The project will be to learn about the Customer environment and collaborate with other members of the team to assure it is well documented, then facilitating handover and knowledge exchange locally.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5 years + Network technical Implementation experience
- Infrastructure and Telecomms background
- Good knowledge of installation of Cisco, Windows and Linux
- Experience of customer facing projects
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Visa/Passport for Finland
The role will be Helsinki based, with little travel assumed, although some regional collaboration is assumed.
