Senior ASIC Designer, WCDMA, LTE and LTE-Advanced, signal processing, including DSP and Microprocessor subsystems, ASIPs, and HW accelerators, RTL Design
eCRM Euro are currently looking for a Senior ASIC Designer for one of my clients in Sweden.
You will work in a multi-disciplinary team to perform innovation and prototyping of future baseband architectures and algorithms. The challenge is to combine algorithms and acceleration that can deliver very competitive radio link performance, power efficiency and flexibility for multi-mode, future features and optimizations. Emphasis will be on WCDMA, LTE and LTE-Advanced.
Your responsibility is primarily to propose and evaluate more efficient implementations of ASIC HW units for signal processing, including DSP and Microprocessor subsystems, ASIPs, and HW accelerators. Included in your work is also prototype RTL design and synthesis, as well confirming performance in system simulators.
Qualifications and experience
- Documented experience of ASIC systemization, RTL design, verification and synthesis.
- Understanding of layer 1 receiver processing of at least one major wireless standard, such as LTE, WCDMA and WiMax.
- Experience of one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- DSP software systemization and design
- Processor design and customization
- Algorithm design and evaluation
- System level modelling and simulation
- System design and evaluation
- Fixed point optimization
