We need a senior SQA engineer who would be a customer facing consultant and would be knowledgeable about Quality process, validation and test requirements. The critical need is that this person needs to travel to Germany and other EU locations when needed. It is to support SQE team by interactions with thecustomer.
1. Domain is Communications
2. Validation of complete system - Software + Board + SoC
3. Understands SQA process well
4. Be able to travel to Germany and other EU places frequently
5. Customer facing - so need a local folk
SQ Automation Role
Key points:
Scripting: Perl, batch, python or similar Scripting experience
Databases: SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle
SKILLS CRITICAL FOR SUCCESS
- Honours degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Good understanding of operating systems internals, computer architecture and processor architecture.
- Discipline and maturity to develop quality deliverables at all stages of the software development life cycle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-site team.
- Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.
- Experience in programming for Real Time Operating Systems, preferably for Linux or Windows (WinCE or WinXP) or similar would be an advantage.
The following Skills would be an advantage
- Experience writing automated scripts that are well-structured, optimized, documented and tested using batch files, PERL, and other Scripting languages (eg C#, C/C++)
- An understanding of HTML/Website administration and design. Scripting experience in TCL, PHP, XML, JavaScript desirable
- Knowledge of hardware, as well as expertise in command line tools and strong UNIX and NT skills
