Description
For one of our key clients, Aston Carter is searching for a functional and technical SAP APO consultant. This is a long term (36 months) contract opportunity.
Project/Department Description and responsibilities:
Application Services; - Application Development & Support;
Technical profile requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience on integration cross SAP R/3 and APO Modules, both
functional(& technical)
o Modules on R/3: SD, MM, PP, WM, FI/CO
o Modules on APO: DP, SNP, PPDS
o Cross company process (tol manufacturing)
* Experience on project management including:
o Master Plan definition and follow up
o Testing strategy, planning and follow up
o Integration test planning and follow up
o User Acceptance Test Planning and follow up
o Cutover Planning and execution
o Program management support
Methodology/Certification requirement:
* Familiar with using MsProject, Excel, and Test tools like Test Director (Mercury) and
Clearquest (Rational).
* CPIM or APICS may be an advantage
* Trained on SAP R/3 (SD, MM, PP, WM, FI/CO) and APO (DP, SNP, PPDS)
The successful candidate has acquired experience within and/or has been involved in projects where the following modules and technologies were in scope:
- Clearquest
- MS Project
- SAP APO
- SAP FICO
- SAP PP-PI
- SAP SD/MM
- SAP WM
- Test Director
Non-Technical profile requirements:
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday
work);
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction;
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills;
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan;
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines; Language
proficiencies:
- English spoken and written;
- Dutch is a plus;
