Our global financial services client is looking to hire a Collateral Management Business Analyst to work on a strategic OTC Clearing Programme.
Our client has the ambition to become a significant participant in the Fixed Income markets, especially GBP & €uro. These markets are undergoing and unprecedented level of change, driven principally by the regulations of EMIR, MiFID2 and Dodd-Frank. This programme has the scope of building a scalable OTC Clearing solution across all of the Fixed Income products, and to address all functional areas and life cycle activities
Role Details:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Documenting current business processes/architecture
- Gathering business requirements & completing an impact assessment
- Working with business design and IT to produce target state solution alternatives and socialising them with the key stakeholders
- Gap Analysis to detail the work required to go from Current state to Future state
- Translating the requirements into project deliverables
- UAT test execution and bug/issue analysis
- Working with the PM to resolve issues, design and implement solutions
- Communications to and from the relevant stakeholders
Required Skills:
- 5+ years Fixed Income Front Office Derivatives experience
- Understanding/experience of collateral management
- Detailed understanding of risk and P&L reporting requirements from a Front Office, product control, and market/credit risk perspective.
- Ideally the candidate will have experience of mplementing a collateral management system
- 5+ years of industry experience, in either a relevant Consultancy role or with Tier 1/2 Investment Banking environment
- Highly developed skills in producing detailed business requirements and use of presentation toolsets such as MS PowerPoint and Visio
- Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise/multi-task to deliver business value and meet project objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation including Senior Executives, Front Office and Infrastructure/Support individuals
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership over Project key deliverables and realisation of Business value
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, builds trust and confidence with colleagues and management teams
