Description
This IT Project Manager will be assisting the Sr. IT Project Manager with managing the Colorado tracks of HealthCare Reform program.

Activities include:
coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analyses for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.

Experience Level: 3-6 Years.

Skill Set: Bachelor's degree preferred, but additional experience can replace this Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Qualifications:
Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills.

Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills.

Excellent analytical skills.

Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization.

Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.

Top required skills:
MS Project, Tracking project costs and variances, organized, detail oriented, strong communication skills

Top daily responsibilities:
Participation in national Program meetings representing Colorado IT, Coordinating activities of Colorado resources, Logging and tracking Action Items and Risks, Managing to a project schedule, scope and costs

Top desired skills:
Relationship building, change management, meeting facilitation, deals with ambiguity

Type of background you are looking for:
at least 3 years managing all or part of small to medium projects, may be in role of Project Manager or Project Coordinator, Background in Healthcare and/or IT is a plus

Information on the project:
Healthcare reform is a large program with several work tracks. This position will work with an existing Sr. IT Project Manager to ensure Colorado IT tracks are well managed
