Description
We are currently seeking a Snr Systems Administrator that will lead in recommending appropriate solutions for all server/storage infrastructure components and hardware platforms to support our clients environment. You will be the technical leader in a team working to design, develop, implement within a hybrid of Linux/Windows systems.This exciting position will be mainly project work ,reporting directly to the Service Delivery manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help architect the next generation infrastructure
- Build and deploy Automated Management systems for a large eco-system of Linux/Windows Servers
- Help create roadmap plans that will execute the architectural vision
- Own and develop the entire life cycle of infrastructure services deployment
- Architect, design, implement our enterprise virtualization and storage systems with VMWare and NetApp
- Help architect, implement, and optimize the performance of our enterprise database system using the latest database systems (MS-SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc)
- Translate and implement our business objectives into a technology savvy vision
- Assess the business and technology requirements infrastructure/systems for benefits and tradeoffs
- Perform technical risk assessment and resolution, and prototyping to test our implementation approaches
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of exp in Linux/UNIX system admin
- 3+ years of exp in working in a mixed Linux/UNIX and Windows environment
- 3+ years of exp using, managing, deploying NetApp storage systems
- 3+ years of exp in supporting a 24x7 production environment
- 3+ years of exp supporting Java based web systems such as jetty, Weblogic, JBOSS, etc
- 3+yrs of Networking with Cisco Router and Switches would be highly desirable
- Exp with automating the deployment and management of Linux/Windows systems using tools such as Puppet, Chef, CF Engine, etc
- Exp with creating systems architectural documentation and diagrams using Visio, Word, etc.
- Exp with authentication systems such as LDAP, MS Active Directory and integrating them in a mixed eco-system of Windows and Linux systems using Centrify, LikeWise, LDAP, etc
- Exp with open source Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc
- Exp with architecting/capacity planning/deploying/supporting of a datacenter for Enterprise level systems
- Exp with ITIL practices, PCI and SOX compliance requirements
- Exp with automation Scripting using Netscaler, IIS, .NET, Shell, Perl, python, VB, etc. is a plus
- Exp with leading and influencing a team composed of both technical and non-technical members
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Citrix knowledge will be high desirable
- All Relevant certification will be looked highly upon
