Senior Front End Developer - Madrid
Our client based in Madrid has a fantastic 6 month initial contract opportunity for Senior Front End Developer.
You will be responsible for:
Design and implement HTML5 based web/mobile application framework.
Work closely with product and design teams
Debug and enhance existing web apps
Create clean, standards-compliant, well-tested code
Actively participate in daily scrum meetings
Experience and skills required:
4+ years Java development experience
4+ years of UI development experience
2+ years of mobile specific web application experience
Strong team player with good English written and verbal communication skills. Position will report to English-speaking Project Manager.
Deep experience with HTML5/CSS3/Javascript. Experience with multi-touch web browsers, using gesture-based navigation is strongly preferred.
Moderate to expert knowledge in AJAX, JSON and data driven JavaScript applications
Cross-browser/platform experience
Familiar with JSON, Javascript, Ajax
Familiar with Spring or other MVC framework
JUnit or other Unit Testing framework. Experience working using TDD (Test Driven Development) is a plus.
