System Engineer

Our client a specialist IT services and solution providers that helps clients plan, build, support & manage their IT infrastructures.

They are looking for System Engineer for a 4 month contract for their Global Property and Infrastructure client in Sydney, CBD.

On a daily basis you will be responsible;

• For installations
• Configurations
• Monitoring
• Day-to-day maintenance and support of corporate engineering systems including Active Directory services, Windows, Linux and related Server-based Operating System technologies.
• Physical and virtual server platforms
• Storage and backups.

To be successful in this role, you should have;

• Experience with some Microsoft Windows Client and Server.
• Experience with Active Directory support
• Microsoft SQL Server
• VMWare ESX
• Redhat Linux
• Citrix XenApp
• Network protocols, network Switches, server hardware
• Ability to handle various medium-sized projects and tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.

An excellent daily rate is on offer for the successful candidate.
