We are currently seeking a Unix Middleware Engineer to join our Clients Enterprise environment for this exciting contract role. You will be required to support and also provide UNIX Administration and Engineering support to primarily AIX on IBM RISC6000 and P-Series hardware, as well as a Red Hat Linux on an Intel/VMWARE platform.

Requirements:
You will be responsible for providing expert-level technical leadership for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations. In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables. The ideal candidate will have broad implementation and configuration experience

Skills:
Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting Informatica (Power center, Power Exchange) in Unix (AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Linux) environment.Strong Experience in any one of the following is a plus: Business Objects Data Services, DataStage, Teradata, Endeca, SAS.Strong DBA skills with at least one of the following: Oracle 10g, DB2 9.0 or SQL Server 2005.Knowledge of Middleware packages (WebSphere, Weblogic, WebMethods or Tibco etc) is a plus.Experience in Production level support for onsite and offshore teams during their development life cycle is a plus. Experience in migrating applications from development/test environments to production including customization, Network protocols and configurations is a plus. Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security. Innovative and creative person who has developed new approaches to developing Middleware solutions. Excellent verbal and written. Eight years prior work experience in information technology, including five year work experience Supported VMWARE on Intel environments (Cloning, vMotion, vCenter)
