Description
A finance analyst/finance business partner is required to work in a large city Bank:
Reporting to the Business Manager (in the Business Planning & MI team) working day to day supporting Commercial and PMO functions, the key responsibilities of the role will be:
Month end cost financial process, including journaling and MI production
Oversight of the c4000 FTE & associated operational costs, working closely with Financial Business Partner
Managing primary relationship with Finance, IT, Procurement for costs
Working closely with Operational management on accruals and forecasting of programme costs and FTE
Role could last up to 18 months if the candidate performs well
3-5 years in a Financial Analyst/Junior Manager role.
Evidence of successful delivery and control in a fast paced environment with challenging objectives
Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills to ensure prudent financial control is maintained
Experience of working in the business, rather than in a Finance support function
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills for Reports, MI and Presentation purposes
Part Qualified/Qualified Accounting qualification
Degree Educated in relevant discipline
Experience of working within the business, not strictly in a finance function.
