Job description:
You are within a department of the customer specialist Cognos Business Intelligence. You will research, analyze and specify the information needs that Cognos BI solution can or should offer. You identify user needs in the field of Cognos BI and try wherever possible solutions. You translate the wishes and requirements into a design, a For this last point, you will work closely with the DBA and ETL specialists You will work closely with the administrators who will perform maintenance after completion on the realized applications and reports. Requirements:
What we seek is a communicative and strong Cognos specialist/analyst with extensive BI experience (minimum five years) within process-driven environments. You are very familiar with current information analysis and design methodologies and know how you can create dimensional models.
Minimum of a bachelor degree in Business Information Technology, Mathematics or other science background
Minimum 10 years experience
Extensive knowledge of Cognos BI
Thorough knowledge of, and reporting and business analysis
You have a strong, results oriented and accustomed to work independently and take responsibility.
In your method is your analytical and problem solving skills clearly.
Strong communication skills ensure that your problems quickly clear it up and you quickly come to decisions and results in designing and implementing solutions.
