Our client, a leading retail bank, currently seeks a FATCA business Architect, to be based in their London office.

The FATCA business Architect will be responsible for:
-Definition of high level E2E business or operational solution ensuring that they are clearly aligned to business and operational strategies
-Ensure that designs are focused on the delivery of smart and innovative solutions
-Ensure that there is a consistent and coordinated approach to design across all clusters as appropriate
-Ensure that there is a consistent and coordinated approach to operational design across the complete E2E solution
-Manage stakeholder relationships between the demand (business) and suppliers(IT) around the constraints and limitations of the operational solution architecture
-Define the opportunities for alternate operational solutions to issues/challenges and represent these solutions to the business and IT
-Define and manage a list of the critical dependency requirements
-Manage all documentation through the necessary review and approval cycles
-Support the definition of the business requirements
-Support the definition of the technical architecture

As such, the successful FATCA business Architect will have the following skills and experience:
-Good knowledge and experience (3-5 years) of the definition of operational solutions in the form of Target Operating Models and supporting process models within financial organisations
-Good understanding of Banks goals, direction and strategies and how technology might support these objectives
-Broad knowledge of the breadth of services and products offered across the Group and awareness of the NPA process
-Good understanding of the Finance and/or Tax Functions
-Up to date with developments in individual area of expertise
-Must have experience of definition of operational solutions in the context of large scale change programmes
-In depth knowledge of an FS Operating Model from a core line of business such as retail, corporate, IB or wealth
-Knowledge of on-boarding, large scale remediation and/or reporting processes would be beneficial
-Knowledge of regulatory/compliance change programmes would be beneficial
-Track record (5+yrs) of delivering high-quality deliverables
-Wide range of proven analytical ability
-Experience of the definition of operational solutions on a number of Business Projects (preferably but not necessarily gained in a Financial Services environment)
-Educated to Degree/MBA level to cope with the intellectual demands of the role
