Description
Our client, a market leader is currently looking for an experienced IT Tester to join their team in the Canberra office.
Role:
The role will be involved in preparing test plan, undertaking testing applications and provide written test results in a timely manner.
Specific Accountabilities:
* Preparation and execution of Test Plans and Test Cases
* Preparation of Test Reports
* Analysis and recommendations based on Test Results
* Provide technical advice of testing functions and problems resolution
* Defect logging and management
* To establish and maintain effective working relationship with internal stakeholders.
Experienced required:
* Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 7, SQL 2005/8 and Windows 2000/XP.
* The ability to debugging and use diagnostic skills with automated testing tools.
* Proven ability to produce written documentation to produce Test Plan's, log meaningful defects, issues etc.
* Excellent knowledge of testing approaches and techniques (at least 4 years)
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Background in programming and web development
