For this contract position with a world-renowned company, the candidate will be working in a validation team creating and executing tests against Storage Software Product. The test environment the candidate will be using is a Windows platform, as is the device under test, and a Windows platform for debugging failures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Isolating the software failures and logging bugs
  • Building the PC platform to required configuration
  • Creating ghost images of various installation
  • Creating and running a variety of manual testing
  • Writing and modifying the automation scripts
  • Providing feedback and regular, timely updates on resolved defects and status
  • Supporting additional ad-hoc testing as needed based on engineering code drop
  • Clearly documenting system configurations, settings for each test and capturing the results

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years previous Software Validation experience
  • Experience with Windows OS's, Android OS's and iOS
  • Experience with Test Design Development
  • Experience with Test execution and logging bugs
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages a plus: C, C++, C#
