Performance Engineer-RAN
2 SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIPS
FO, BO, SDM, NPOC & ELS,
3 OVERALL PURPOSE
- Identify suspected deficiencies and/or problems in the access network.
- Design, Produce and present all requested reports internally and/or externally.
- Network Performance Engineer assumes ownership of all Network performance reports that are requested from him/her.
- He/she is also responsible to continuously improve the quality of reporting to exceed customer's satisfaction.
4 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
o Monitors and reports required performance of the network,
o Find NEs with performance problems and reacts on NW performance degradation,
o Investigates and follows up performance related issues,
o carry out activities according to the Performance Management (PM) and Fault Management (FM) processes,
o Generate & Interpret daily/weekly performance reports,
o Ensure correctness of the data to be collected,
o Ensure correctness of the formulas used in reporting,
o Ensure correctness of the reports,
o Ensure that exclusions defined in the MS contract are implemented into reporting,
o KPI management,
o Identify the planned activities as the root cause for performance changes,
o Identify the effect of parameters on Network Performance,
o Support network operations,
o Report problems in the Trouble Ticketing System
o Support Configuration Team and Network Roll-Out,
o Create and analyze reports for 2G & 3G RAN,
o Escalation to Fault Management process,
5 QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Background
o Typically 5 years directly related experience,
o Strong Analytical capabilities, Ability to apply knowledge and ability to deliver quality and results,
o Good knowledge in English,
o A team player.
