Web Content Publisher A Melbourne based government department have an urgent requirement for a talented web professional to design and maintain their website content  whilst providing advice  and publishing services.  This position will be working across the design, update, maintenance an optimisation of an web content program of works.  Candidates should ideally have prior experience with Sitecore CMS and strong relationship building skills to foster collaboration over the wider organisation. This role is project based and will run until the end of the financial year.Duties: 
  • Maintenance of web content in accordance with current publishing standards.
  • Advising on content accessibility and useability.
  • Collaboration and liaison with other staff members and department to deliver web outcomes.
  • Maintenance of web trends, practices standards and guidelines.
  • Utilisation of CMS systems, software applications, web statistics packages and graphic design applications to meet business requests.
  • Provide input across the development, improvement and maintenance of web policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
  • Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining web content  within a Sitecore CMS environment
  • An understanding of Australian Government website standards
  • Demonstrated graphic design experience in a web environment
  • The ability to work in a collaborative fashion  across multiple projects.
