A leading Telecommunications Giant based in Melbourne's CBD, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month basis.We are looking to secure the services of an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to work within the Program Delivery team. This role will manage the delivery of diverse Integration and solutions, working closely with customers whilst co-ordinating multiple delivery partners to achieve targets and results.The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of initiatives, managing multiple concurrent projects from early engagement stage to the successful delivery and handover of the solutions.Essential skills & criteria:- Professional knowledge of Information Technology, commercial & project management skills as they apply to the IT industry.
- Knowledge of full SDLC - solid exposure to the systems development life cycle particularly in a complex & packaged software environment.
- Ability to create & maintain a high performance team
- Strong knowledge and exposure to Agile Methodology
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to confidently work with stakeholders internal and external at all levels of the organisation and to direct highly technical resources.
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and understand and manage the contractual relationship
- Previous Telecommunications experience.
- Previous Vendor experience.
