We require a User Exeperience Architect for a 6-12 month contract. Based Dublin City Centre.We have many new and exciting online projects coming up from music to TV as well and building small screen and mobile applications.
We're looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the user-centred design process. You should have solid experience in transactional sites as well as content and service-design.
Key Job Responsibilities:
This role is for someone with strong user experience skills to work within the User Experience team alongside technicians, designers and business owners to help define our online presence. The candidate must constantly work on behalf of the user and lead workshop for a user-perspective using a range of user centered design tools (personas, stores, scenarios, research etc.). They will work with the team to identify key flows, develop iterative mock-ups and prototypes and be will be responsible for delivering User Interface specifications with wireframes, screen flows and interactions.
Relevant expertise or experience
- Experience of end-to-end user-centered design process
- Task or screen flow generation
- Information architecture and Wireframe design
- Designing the user/system interactions and interaction design
- Creating User Interface specifications and documentation
- Solid and proven experience of sales and conversion websites
- Any TV, mobile and small screen experience a plus
Key Skills required
- Proven skills to extract objectives and measures of success, and define requirements
- Ability to run and lead workshops with business, user and stakeholder representatives
- UCD methodologies and tools: user research, run workshops, extract requirements, compile target personas, user scenarios, user flows, screen and task flows, information architecture
Exceptional analytical skills
- Proficiency in producing task flow prototypes and reasoning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of UX software: axure/omnigraffle/visio
