Overview:
Our client, one of the UK's largest banks, requires the services of a Quality Assurance manager to assist in their programme of PPI remediation.
Core duties of the role:
Manage a large team of QA agents (including 3 team leaders) and establish working relationships with Operations management teams. Develop and promote a comprehensive framework for assuring the quality of the operational delivery. Working together with colleagues from retail banking and the Best Practices group, develop methods and controls for providing and incorporating the feedback and ensuring the integrity of QA processes and procedures and a continuous process improvement.
Core skills and experience required:
ISEB and/or ISO certification
Quality Assurance (not Testing)
Validation experience (as in Validation & Verification)
Experience working in regulatory environment
Knowledge of operational risk management (as in continual cyclic process, which includes risk assessment, risk decision making, and implementation of risk controls rather than managing the operations)
Ability to establish, manage, and monitor QA-relevant KPIs
Ability to produce comprehensive periodic dashboards and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to talk to the Senior Operations managers.
Excel knowledge (incl. Pivot tables) is highly desirable.
