One of our Global Clients is actively looking for a Controls Engineer, who can support on-site integration of engine and aftertreatment systems.

The successful controls engineer will have the following experience/skills:

- Strong ability to function within very demanding multi-cultural customer environment

- Experience with engine and aftertreatment performance development

- Fundamental understanding of aftertreatment systems and associated technologies

- Experience and user capability with Matlab-Simulink based controls software

- Knowledge of system engineering tools and process

- Flexibility in taking on different responsibilities as the work changes

- Must be self-motivated and require minimal supervision

- Strong analytical and problem solving capability

- Strong commitment to on-time delivery

Responsibilities:

Support on-site integration of engine and aftertreatment systems

- Interface with customer performance and software engineers

- Develop functional response models for the influence of inputs/sub-component parameters on

system performance

- Support tuning of system controls to optimize performance and diagnostics

- Create and publish performance tuning procedures/manuals

- Verify and validate system performance through simulations and physical testing

- Monitor and report vehicle field test validation of system performance

Support new product introduction program

- Support system and subsystem requirements management including critical

characteristics/parameters.

- Responsible for failure diagnosis, identification, and entry into Client McParts

- Responsible for completion of Client problem solving process for assigned incidents

- Support program design reviews as specified
