General Responsibilities:
· Collect and understand the requirements for software development/enhancement assignments.
· Develop/enhance software based on the design specifications.
· Test the developed/assigned software to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met.
· Assist with deployment of the developed/enhanced software into the production environment.
· Ensure project deliverables are delivered in a timely, quality, and cost effective manner.
· Gathering and documenting requirements, developing and enhancing existing client server and web based applications, testing and implementation.
· Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting user requirements and test case execution.
· Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business processes & effectively implement technical solutions.
· Experience with the full systems IT&T software development life-cycle.
· Distribution systems (e.g. SCADA, Grid, and Work Management) experience.
· Demonstrated ability to work with complex issues and develop successful win-win solutions.
· Demonstrated strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field experience.
· 7+ years of IT SDLC lifecycle analysis and development
· Visual Studio 2008 and 2010
· C#, .NET (web and client development).
· nUnit or other unit testing framework
· Team Foundation Server.
· Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) processes
· Microsoft Entity Frameworks
· Microsoft SQL Server
· Experience with Design Patterns and best practices
