Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Middleware Application Administrator for a 10 month contract based in Helsinki.
To be considered for the role of Middleware Application Administrator you will have the following:
- Experience with automated provisioning, preferably Chef.
- Experience with Ruby and knowledge of Scripting skills in either WLST, Python, Ruby or Perl.
- Previous working experience from Linux environments, preferably Red Hat (version 5 or later) or Ubuntu.
- Previous working experience from UNIX Shell Scripts, eg sh, bash, ksh, and UNIX
- text processing tools, eg grep, SED, AWK.
- Experience with virtualisation, eg VMWare ESX.
- Experience with web application and web Servers, preferably Oracle WebLogic product family, version 11g or later, Apache Tomcat, version 5 or later, Jboss, 4.1 or later, Apache HTTP server, version 2 or later or Microsoft IIS.
- Experience with monitoring tools, preferably Zenoss Enterprise 3.1, Nagios 3.0 or later.
Assets:
- Experience with Puppet, Capistrano, Apache Ant, Apache subversion, Git, Ganglia,
- Cacti, Jenkins (Hudson), Splunk.
- Java admin knowledge with tools such as jconsole, jstat etc.
- Experience with Databases, preferably Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, version
- 11g or later or Microsoft SQL Server, version 2005 or later or PostgreSQL, version
- 8.3 or later or MySQL, version 5.0 or later.
