Reconciliation Accountant
We currently have an extremely urgent requirement for 3 reconciliation accountants to work on a project for a financial services company in Suffolk. we are looking for someone with experience from within the financial services and has experience of reconciliations and an accountancy background. The individual will be a self starter and not be afraid of looking at large sets of data at anyone time.
You will be analysing and validating data which is being migration from an old single system to a new common system between a number of your group companies.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Running automated Data Migration reconciliations, investigating and highlighting root cause of differences, if any. Supporting the data augmentation process including identifying missing data, incorrectly mapped data, and creating and posting correcting journals Running Business Object reconciliation reports, investigating and highlighting root cause of differences, if any Running Op. Co. specific reconciliations, investigating and highlighting root cause of differences, if any Preparing, uploading and testing manual journals Preparing reconciliation summary for Op. Co sign off Utilising accounting tools & reports to proactively validate wider Finance reporting requirements have been met Skills/Experience
Part qualified/newly qualified accountant, or qualified by experience Experience of operating Financial Controls and monthly financial reporting processes Ability to, and proven experience of performing financial and non financial reconciliations with high volumes of transactions Highly competent and confident in the use of Excel.
