Cost Analyst - Land - Defence/Military - SC Cleared
We are currently looking for an SC Cleared Cost Analyst for a contract role in Hampshire. The role will be for 12 months and rates range from £400 - £530 per day, depending on experience.
Task Description
To lead the cost and Through Life Cost Modelling research in the Land Domain. The role will include technical and capability leadership for the provision of cost analysis and delivery of advice on the appropriateness of this information.
Examples of the type of tasks that you may be required to undertake are:
- Cost of Readiness
- Cost Pressures
- Cost of Concepts
- Support to various projects
You will be expected to work alongside other teams and will need to be flexible and adaptable to the constantly evolving customer direction and priority.
Delivery of results, in the form of memos, reports and/or presentations, will be required throughout the duration of the contract. You will be expected to attend regular progress meetings with the client's study team and update the project manager accordingly.
The primary work location will be Hampshire, but may involve some travel to London, Bristol and Kent as necessary.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of operational analysis
- Experience of generic cost modelling
- Experience of cost analysis tools and techniques
- Knowledge of current defence issues, military equipment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Valid SC clearance
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of risk analysis
- Experience of Microsoft Office Software, such as Access and Project
- Experience of writing reports
