Description
The successful candidate will be part of a team working with external customers and vendors to deliver validated platforms in support of mobile phone programs.
This candidate will work with internal teams to create external collateral, release notes, and software releases. In addition, the candidate will be required to identify and work issues with the vendors, Engineering Groups, Marketing, Initiative groups, and other teams across the client's organization by providing the data necessary to help drive issues into the project and improve the product's competitiveness.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of software engineering and application integration experience in the mobile phone industry
- Knowledge of the Android Operating System
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge of mobile platforms and operating systems
- Knowledge of mobile software design and architecture (video, security, wireless technologies, and Android operating system a plus)
- Ability to do in depth debug of the Linux Kernel and Android OS
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer support skills
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results
