Description
As part of a major rail refranchising programme my central government client is a seeking quality finance management interims to join teams in the financial evaluation of bids, through to contractualisation stage and, finally transferring knowledge over the franchise to the franchise management team during the mobilisation phase.
Key tasks:
- informing the invitation to tender including financial modelling and contractual requirements - production of bidder accrediation report
- clarification responses to financial and template queries from bidders
- preparing a detailed long form report to support bidders financial assumptions
- working within a team in the financial evaluation of bids
Skills Required
The client is looking for Finance interims who have strong experience within a bid environment, from working on the ITT, to financial evaluation of the bids, the contractualisation, and finally transferring knowledge you will need: - advanced ability to gather and interpret commercial and technical info through financial models and due diligence exercises - ability to create and maintain effective relationships - interrogation and analysis of financial models and their contractual implications - commercial negotiation skills - ability to quantify financial and operational risk in a bid environment (ideally rail) - detailed knowledge of procurement and specification processes (ideally rail) - comprehensive understanding of rail industry finances and Franchise Agreement priniciples
Qualifications Required
