Job description
Our Client are currently planning a project to replace the outdated intranets by one global Intranet portal. This new portal will be used by the different communication departments located in different countries across the group.
For this project, we are looking for an experienced Sharepoint consultant. As member of the IT team, you will work closely with the business to translate the functional requirements into solutions. After the project, the resource will stay in the maintenance team for an undefined duration.
The right candidate will have a good knowledge of the SharePoint platforms at Functional and IT (Infrastructure and Application Development) levels.
S/He will be familiar with different stages of the development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment.
S/He will work closely with the business and the project manager to establish priority and work plan
The candidate will also be responsible of day-to-day tasks on the current environments. (Level 2 Support, troubleshooting, maintenance tasks)
Skills Required include:
- Good knowledge of SharePoint Architecture,
- Good knowledge of Object Model, Shared Services, SharePoint Features
- Practical experience in Design and development in SharePoint.
- Confident with WFF, WEB parts, Info path CSS, CAML, XHTML, SQL server
- Ability to assist internal clients with business requirements,
- Ability to animate workshops
- Ability to identify and resolve any technical issues
- Ability to work independently as part of project team
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good verbal and written English
