Java Web Developer-Charlotte, NC
A Progressive company in Charlotte, NC has an immediate need for a Java Web Developer for a 9 month contract. This position will be required to interpret the requirement and develop the technical direction for a large scale web application.
A high level of Java application designs and communication with the other developers for coding and coding enhancements to existing applications will be necessary. Documenting, executing unit test cases for developed code, troubleshooting and resolving defects and existing unit test cases for developed code, resolving defects within existing applications will be required. Strong design skills and web based applications with SQL skills are necessary. Strong English communication skills will be required to work with client and other developers. Recent experience in Retail and Marketing, customer web portals, customer and billing systems on large scale are required.
Required Skill Set:
6-9 years related experience required; Object-Oriented application development exposure, Java, JSP, J2EE, HTML, XML, XSLT, UML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, SQL,WebSphere, Relational Databases (SQL Server and DB2), Web Services (SOAP, REST) Tools: Enterprise Architect, Rational Application Developer (RAD), Visual SourceSafe, SQL Server.
Local candidates are preferred, Must be able to work on a W-2; No Corp to Corp is allowed.
