Position Description
- Initial stage - Drive Operations Model: Act as the main point of contact for the transformation team on behalf of the functional RTB team in the following activities:
- Designing future state operating model across process
- Review business requirements as documented by programme analysts based on the operations model
- Middle stages - Review & Assurance: Assist the transformation team as the main point of contact for the functional RTB team in the following activities:
- Ensure design meets requirements
- Support delivery & migration readiness activities
- Providing clarifications & review for questions from development & technical testing, typically via business or technical analysts
- Provide input to testing team in developing detailed user test plans & scripts
- Later stages - Support implementation:
- Work with project/test managers in the programme to determine specialist RTB resource & time needed for testing and migration
- Support user testing plan - including hands on testing and also leading resources from the RTB team as appropriate
- Influence and prepare users in the function, for new technology, process & organization
- Create and manage forums for users to be informed and raise ideas or challenges in a constructive fashion
- Proactive communication with the user community and programme teams globally - in Commodities as well as with cross-product support functions
Candidates must have the following:
- Strong knowledge of physical & financial commodities globally in the relevant function. This should cover listed & OTC, specifically Base Metals and gained in doing the job hands-on
- Basic knowledge of technology project life cycle through exposure to project work, e .g. working in analysis, SME or testing capacity
- Some familiarity with process change concepts & practice, eg reengineering, lean/six sigma, outsourcing/offshoring, etc.
- Demonstrated record of thought leadership & influencing the change
