Anteo Group has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Manager in Atlanta. This is a contract to hire role for one of our clients and is located in the Perimeter/Dunwoody area. The Project Manager needs to have a proven track record with client-facing projects along with SDLC experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization with a great deal of long term potential. Any experience in the payment processing industry is a huge plus.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM 7 years of full time Project Management experience. This means that you must have at least 7 years of PM experience when you were the official PM on the project. The team does not want candidates that have used PM principles over the past 7 years
Proven track record managing complex, high profile, multimillion dollar initiatives with remote Matrix teams.
Experiencing managing projects from initiation through execution.
Executive facing position with ability to assist in development of strategic initiatives with stakeholder engagement.
Excellent multi tasking skills.
SDLC experience is a must. Experience managing soup to nuts on full Project Life Cycle from initial scope statements, requirements gathering, design, development, test, and implementation. Including network and infrastructure build out for implementations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in Risk Management and planning.
MS Project expertise is required.
Excellent planning skills, including mentoring project leads, creating work breakdown structures, driving out detailed estimates, resource assignment, and identification of critical path, resource constraints, and key project milestones.
High level of people management - someone who can walk the fine line between being a people person while also driving the project schedule.
Self starter.
Will be expected to manage projects that span multiple groups and time zones. PM should be able to learn fast and build up knowledge areas.
Experience in financial services/Payments is a bonus.
Undergraduate degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned project(s). Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Directs and manages project activity for an assigned functional area. 2-5 medium to large active projects.
2. Participates in meeting and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team.
3. Interviews users to identify and analyze needs; develops a project plan and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution.
4. Identifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion.
5. Prepares project status reports
6. Actively tracks and maintains a detailed MS Project plan.
7. Assists with or prepares project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems.
8. Participates in training users as applicable.
9. Participates in project evaluation against estimated plans and costs; provides continuing support and service as required.
10. Manages performance of project team, and evaluates overall performance.
11. Experienced in working in a Matrix project environment.
12. Proven track record of project delivery and success.
13. Has managed projects end to end - Scope to Implementation, including all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) within the PLC (Project Life Cycle).
14. Skilled in issue resolution and risk management.
15. Experience managing highly complex, high profile, client facing engagements within time, budget, and scope.
