My Client is a top City Investment bank looking for a Finance Business Analyst to work on a financial reporting project.
The IFRS change programme is responsible for implementing numerous IFRS updates announced by the IASB in 2011. The work stream is tasked with developing a single robust data collection and reporting methodology which can capture delta reporting (Old IFRS vs New IFRS requirements) and data comparisons.
A detailed assessment, GAP analysis and documented business requirements are needed to drive desired business changes for each change.
An analyst will engage with impacted lines of business to perform detailed assessments, document business requirements and carry out GAP analysis.
The analyst will face off to IT and the business to ensure that user requirements are captured and prioritised.
Required skills:
Qualified accountant
Business analyst experience - project work with BRD, GAP analysis and impact assessments
Financial reporting experience
