Marketing Senior Project Manager
This is a 6 month contract with potential for extensions in the Deerfield, IL area for a Marketing Sr. Project Manager.
Our client is Fortune 500 retailer that is looking for a Sr. PM to come in and help lead an initiative with the Marketing division. They are looking to put together a holiday magazine (similar to Trader Joe's, Costco) in time for the 2012 holiday season. This indvidual will be coordinating between several parts of the business to help execute and deliver the project on time!
These parts of the business will include - private brands, supply chain, publications, marketing, & E-commerce. The first steering committee meeting is scheduled for early May and ideally this PM should be in position prior to that meeting. There are several firm deadlines in place as it stands - dealing with the appropriate internal groups to come up with a detailed plan to execute is extremely important!
Skills required:
- 5+ years of strong Project Management experience
- PMP certification is a bonus
- Experience in a large organization is preferred
- Experience in a matrixed environment
- Experience creating project plans, document charters, etc required
- Extensive experience leading business projects (especially projects dealing with multiple business units)
- Strong Communicator and leader
- Publication (Roto's, Marketing Magazines, etc) experience desired, NOT required.
