IT Marketing Project Manager-Charlotte, NC-12 month contract.
A Progressive company in Charlotte, NC has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager with a Strong Marketing Background. This is a Requirement. The IT Marketing PM will work within the Customer Applications area.
The PM with be responsible for- Execution of Project Management processes and deliverables; Bi-Weekly status reporting to the IT PMO. You will be expected to manage sponsor expectations and ensure that project requirements are documented and achieved. PM will maintain status updates to project sponsors as defined by current team practices. PM will manage a team of matrixes with resources across IT and business support groups
You will need to effectively demonstrate project management skills, especially planning and directing work efforts, and motivating teammates. You should show demonstrated success translating objectives into project plans, as well as proven success with scheduling and cost processes. You must have the ability to manage multiple and unrelated tasks at the same time and have the sharp ability to work within a matrixed environment with specific responsibility and accountability to Business Management/Sponsors, IT Management/Sponsors, and IT PMO leadership. You will be expected to maintain flexibility and adapt to changing processes and standards as they evolve from the new organization structure. Your ability to effectively apply established project standards and change management processes will be required.
Required Qualifications:
-Marketing applications exp
-5 years IT PM experience
Desired Qualifications:
1. Ability to effectively apply structured project management methodologies.
2. Experience working with web applications, particularly in regards to mobile capabilities
