IT Project Manager with PMP Certification-Charlotte, NC
A Progressive company in Charlotte, NC has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager with 6-9yrs of experience. You will work for the IT PMO with Human Resources IT and Corporate Applications department. This position will be responsible for creating and executing project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Tasks required will be reviewing deliverables that will be prepared by your team, managing day-day operational aspects and project scope. You will be responsible for minimizing our risk on the project by ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored properly. You will be required to hold regular meetings with your project team and effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors. You will be expected to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion; effectively apply Project methodology and enforce project standards; identify resources and assigns individual responsibility as well as prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Required Skills: A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related disciplines with strong interpersonal skills/team player/willing to do numerous different activities as asked. A minimum 5 years of IT PM experience using a formal SDLC; Experience managing at least two large IT projects experience that involved delivering, engaging, informative and well-organized presentations.
And experience using MS SharePoint for documentation storage and version control. PMP Certified
Desired skills: Experience with enterprise commercial package installations and experience managing a project staff of at least 10 members.
Must be able to work W-2; No Corp to Corp allowed.
Pay rate: 55-75/hr based on experience.
