IT Project Manager for the PMO-Cincinnati, Ohio-7 month contract
A Progressive company in Cincinnati, Ohio has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager, to work in the Trade and Marketing Department. The PM with be responsible for- Execution of Project Management processes and deliverables; Regular status reporting to the IT PMO. You will be expected to manage sponsor expectations and ensure that project requirements are documented and achieved. PM will maintain status updates to project sponsors as defined by current team practices. PM will manage a team of matrixes with resources across IT and business support groups
Tasks required will be reviewing deliverables that will be prepared by your team, managing day-day operational aspects and project scope. You will be responsible for minimizing our risk on the project by ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored properly. You will be required to hold regular meetings with your project team and effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors. You will be expected to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion; effectively apply Project methodology and enforce project standards; identify resources and assigns individual responsibility as well as prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Experience working with External 3rd party vendors for services Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related disciplines Strong interpersonal skills/team player/willing to do numerous different activities as asked A minimum 5 years of IT PM experience At least 5 years using a formal SDLC Experience managing at least two large IT projects experience Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with enterprise commercial package installations and experience managing a project staff of at least 10 members.
Must be able to Work W-2, No Corp to Corp is allowed.
